Property.CoZa franchise network expands further!

“We have expanded tremendously over the last few months!” says a smiling MJ Dafel, Head of Real Estate for Property.CoZa South Africa. Within the past 2 months four more franchise licenses were sold: Nelspruit (including Witrivier), Witbank (including Bronkhorstspruit & Kriel), Middelburg (including Groblersdal & Marblehall) and Edenvale in the East Rand. The real estate group is also already operational in the following areas: Boksburg, Benoni, Brakpan, Centurion and Springs/Nigel, with several of the recently sold franchises opening its doors in 2010. This brings the total number of franchises sold in the past four months to 8, excluding the two franchises owned by the franchisor.

“Our business model is more profitable than most existing real estate franchise models currently in South Africa” says Gustav Kruger, CEO for Property.CoZa South Africa. The reason for their successes, says Kruger, can be contributed to their unique new franchise model for the South African real estate industry. Existing real estate franchise experience is combined with new, innovative ideas. The cost involved is also very reasonable for the kind of structure and support the franchisees receive. The franchisor provides a “plug and play” business model ranging from state of the art, user friendly IT systems including an Office Management System for the franchisee and its agents to manage their listings, all the way to a panel of preferred transfer attorneys to service the franchisee, its agents and clients.

 

Agents receive 80% of the commission without paying any desk fees. “With this unique concept, we believe it is possible to have a minimum of 25 successful franchises by the end of 2010” says Dafel. Existing real estate franchise models are struggling in the current market says Dafel, before quoting their motivation for starting this new real estate brand “the greatest rewards come to those who foresee and act upon an opportunity and in doing so, change that market dynamic for the better”.

·            Personal day-to-day involvement in the management of the business.

·            Financial security and the financial capacity to open and operate the business as well as supporting any borrowing costs associated with the business.

·            A willingness to adhere to established concept guidelines and procedures.

·            A positive attitude.
